The airport is located in Spata, about 33 km northwest of Athens. Access to the airport is now quick and easy thanks to the construction of Attiki Odos, a 6-lane motorway that goes around Athens. Different means of transport provide a reliable service and access to the airport 24 hours a day, from the centre of Athens or Attika ports, offering an efficient service and facilitating connections with the different tourist centers.

Attiki Odos, a toll motorway, is the main access to the airport. You can access it without paying the toll by Lavriou Avenue and other road links.
